According to the New York Post, King also claimed her first reaction was to assume the assassination attempt was “probably fake,” before expressing mock disappointment that the shooter failed to harm President Trump.
UnitedHealthcare didn’t hesitate to take action once King’s appalling comments came to light. The company issued a clear statement to Fox News Digital: “Violence is never acceptable and any comments that suggest otherwise are in no way consistent with our mission and values.” This swift response shows corporate America can still distinguish right from wrong when it comes to threats against our democratically elected leaders.

Suspected shooter Cole Tomas Allen opened fire at the Washington Hilton Hotel during the dinner, specifically targeting Trump administration officials according to law enforcement sources.
